I’ve been working on this top ten calendar post for two months now. I don’t know why. It has been way more work than I expected and now I’m not even into calendars. A few months ago, I totally was and I went crazy buying them for everyone I know as gifts. This year has been a year of gift buying for me. I needed a project! So I became Mrs. Christmas and went Christmas nuts, with calendars being the main victims and little bows (I even got a baby’s first Christmas jumper) I swear maternity leave will make you do crazy things.
I’m not sure where the calendar obsession came from, I didn’t even have an official 2009 calendar. Instead we used the upcoming year calendar from 2008. You know the 2 pt type printed on the back of the current year calendar. This one had like three years printed on it so not only could I not read it I couldn’t figure out if I was referencing the right year. We survived on the iphone. Who needs calendars and watches anymore?
Something about 2010 makes me need a calendar or ten! It must be the incredible even and dividable numbers in 2010. the primness? It is so prime and it’s the beginning of a new decade. 2010 calendars have become my focus for Christmas consumerism. I wanted to post the top ten of top ten 2010 calendar lists here and here, but instead I tried to come up with my own. Only you know what happened? Within the two months of working on this some of my very favorites had sold out. Oh well, that isn’t stopping me.

Silhouette are so 2010. I silhouetted Francis this year and so proud of my one dyi project for the nursery. Even if Chris said it made him look like Frankenstein. If you like silhouettes this calendar is for you. Others are printable this one comes printed.

This calendar looks confusing to me, but I’ve seen it posted in about ten different places. Don’t take my word for it I’ve never seen it in person but other people seem to like it.
